Celebrating Gill, a member of “Carol’s Angels”!
These delightful Izzy Doll creations were made by the talented Gill Granger from Crawley Down, West Sussex, England! Gill has been bringing smiles to countless faces since she discovered the Izzy Doll Initiative in February and has already lovingly donated an amazing 115 Izzy Dolls!
Gill’s whimsical characters, inspired by nursery rhymes and popular figures, bring so much joy to local charities, hospitals, playgroups, and even surprise finds around her community. Gill’s efforts reach even further thanks to her sister, Valerie Granger, who helps distribute many of these dolls. In just the last couple of months, Valerie has taken Gill’s creations to Romania, Poland, and Italy! To ensure the recipients understand the gift, Gill thoughtfully translates the gift card into the appropriate local language and shares Master Corporal Mark Isfeld’s story by including our website information https://www.izzydoll.org with her donations.
Each doll has its own unique personality, reflecting the care and creativity Gill pours into every stitch. We are grateful for Gill’s generous heart, and Valerie’s help in spreading this kindness. Their combined efforts to support the Izzy Doll Initiative truly embody the spirit of comfort and kindness that Master Corporal Mark “Izzy” Isfeld inspired.
