L'Initiative Izzy Doll est profond\u00e9ment touch\u00e9e par l'incroyable g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 de la commune de Berni\u00e8res-sur-Mer, qui a r\u00e9pondu avec tant d'enthousiasme au projet des 80 poup\u00e9es Izzy pour le 80e anniversaire du D\u00e9barquement<\/a> !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour rappel, la commune de Berni\u00e8res-sur-Mer avait re\u00e7u sa propre poup\u00e9e Izzy lors d'une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie \u00e9mouvante au Centre Juno Beach<\/a> le 19 f\u00e9vrier 2025. Cette poup\u00e9e, symbole d'amiti\u00e9 entre la France et le Canada, leur a \u00e9t\u00e9 remise par l'attach\u00e9 de d\u00e9fense du Canada, le Colonel Jason Galuga, et Lise Galuga, directrice ex\u00e9cutive de l'Initiative Izzy Doll. Les poup\u00e9es Izzy incarnent l'espoir, l'aide humanitaire et la paix \u2013 des valeurs fondamentales que nous partageons et promouvons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspir\u00e9 par ce symbole fort, le maire de Berni\u00e8res-sur-Mer, M. Thomas Dupont-Federici, a lanc\u00e9 un appel \u00e0 ses concitoyens pour qu'ils participent \u00e0 cette initiative en m\u00e9moire du caporal-chef Mark \"Izzy\" Isfeld. La r\u00e9ponse fut absolument magnifique !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lors de la C\u00e9r\u00e9monie Communale de Berni\u00e8res-sur-Mer, le 6 juin dernier, le groupe de tricot de la commune a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 non pas 80, mais 81 poup\u00e9es Izzy qu'elles avaient cr\u00e9\u00e9es de leurs propres mains ! Ce fut un moment d'une profonde \u00e9motion, t\u00e9moignant de l'engagement et de la solidarit\u00e9 de cette communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces adorables poup\u00e9es Izzy seront distribu\u00e9es aux enfants dans le besoin par les membres des forces canadiennes lors de leurs prochaines missions. C'est un geste qui nous touche au plus profond de nous-m\u00eames, et nous tenons \u00e0 exprimer notre plus sinc\u00e8re gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un immense merci \u00e0 la commune de Berni\u00e8res-sur-Mer pour cette magnifique d\u00e9monstration de g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 et de compassion.
